Data Controller and Processing Purpose

The URL shortener ittly is operated by Shared Business Service, owner Marc Seeber. We process personal data solely to provide our link shortening service and to deliver click statistics for your short links.

What data we store

When you create a short link, we store the destination URL you provided and – if you are registered – your username and email address. When someone clicks a short link, we log an anonymised IP address (the last octet is replaced with "0"), the browser's user agent string, the referral source and a timestamp. Full IP addresses are never stored, so it is not possible to identify individual visitors.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

We use Google AdSense to serve advertisements on our website. Google and third parties may use cookies and process personal data to display personalised ads. More information can be found in Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com. Premium users receive an ad-free version of our site.

Cookies and Sessions

We use technically necessary cookies to store your language preferences and session information (login status). Without these cookies, the basic functionality of the website would not be guaranteed. You can delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data at any time. If you wish to remove your user account or short links, please contact us by email. We process your data based on Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) of the GDPR (contract performance and legitimate interests).
